It's a PC monitor, not a TV, you'll have a hard time finding one that isn't at least 60Hz.

But if you'd bothered to Google it you'd know it was 3440 x 1440 @ 60 Hz

I think you missed his point. He was likely referring to lack of 144hz.

Phillips build quality, panel failure rate and CS on their premium monitors leaves a lot to be desired

For hardcore gamers a 144mhz monitor may be preferable but there are none of this size remotely near this price.

Predator X34A 34" 3440x1440 IPS G-SYNC WideScreen Super-Wide ZeroFrame Curved LED Monitor - £1200 and still 60hz (capable of being overclocked to 100mhz)

I can't speak to panel failure rates, but the reviews are very positive on build quality.

I know the cost, I was simply explaining what I believe the poster was saying.

They say you can't really tell the difference after 1khz refresh rate, but I bet at 100mhz must run really smooth...
Is that factory setting or do you need to overclock, not sure I want to void a warranty? :)

editted: You already said overclocked, my bad. Looks like I'll give it a pass.

This deal. Which has now expired.

Just to check before I buy is this the best deal for the price for a 1440p UltraWide, and is it really worth the £200 premium over 29" 1080p UltraWides? I'm not a gamer so lack of FreeSync is fine, just desktop use. Replacing a 4k.

The AOC 34' ultrawide gets rave reviews and is a similar price. Only 34' ultrawides are worthwhile if you are buying for non-gaming use. It is worth the premium, no doubt.

Frankie: nothing is coming up on our internal system sadly so we don't have a supplier, if you wait a few days we may get another supplier but currently doesn't look like we're getting any more back in sadly.

Damn it... :-(
