Reviews say it's very good for a lower price player :) Sells for about £79.99 elsewhere :)

Someone posted this player at Asda a few weeks back, at £50. I've been in 4 stores looking, but they only have the bdp3100 (at about £125 if memory serves).

Likely extremely limited stock, and possibly a one off, but great deal for the OP and anyone else who finds one.

A friend of mine has this bluray player, its not a bad player, the USB is for software upgrade only though,he bought it thinkin he could play xvids via HDD but its only capable of playing xvids via DVD.

still very cheap and well worth the money.

Hey Bisky,

I know nothing about this machine but I did find an LG TV (not sure of the model but only last years, I thnk) where someone changed the software via the USB socket and managed to get it to read/play DivX.

Might be worth browsing over the coming months.

i bought one from fosse park leicester about 2 months ago
done the firmware update to play avi's/divx's from usb stick and then put it away in its box
not had it out since, as a week later i was offered a ps3 60gb for £80 so bought,
was gonna take the blu-ray dvd player back for a refund but never got round to it. (as you get 28 days no quibble)
some at work said they will have it but hasnt yet, so if someone is struggling to get one and live near leicester thet can have this one for £50, what i paid for it,boxed, new with reciept
