Hot price (Heat added) but the reviews seem to suggest that the sound is a bit naff.

Great price, ive got a £10 voucher too, thanks!

We've had two sets of Philips phones (albeit not this model), worst phones I have EVER had!!!! Voice goes quiet when it feels like it, ringers sometimes work on basestations not the handsets (vice-versa) awful, awful tat!!! Good price but no bargain if they end up in the bin!! Panasonic for me next time

I thought about posting this 2 or 3 days ago when I was searching the clearance section but didn't because they aren't very good even for £13.99. I'm glad I read the reviews at the time as I was thinking of getting one to replace an older phone in my bedroom.

reserved one, but after reading reviews wont bother collecting

Philips just dont know how to make reliable phones

Had Philips to range phones... hand sets kept saying 'warning batteries low'.. and then not working.. put new batteries in same issue 3 or so months later... avoid as their customer service is very poor.. going back to BT

I've had this one for nearly two years. Always works fine for me, no issues with sound quality either. Good for the price.

We've had this phone but with the answer machine in the base for around a year. Not at all as bad as the reviews, but the base-station does not ring, only the handset. Would be worth checing on this before purchasing.

Terrible phone - my girlfriend has it. Garbage sound, poor battery, poor buttons.

I've used a few different types of cordless DECT phones, this is up there with the worst. I'd save my money.

I use Panasonic phones at home just now - have to say they're up there with the best I've tried.

Can anyone recommend a good cordless phone?? I've been meaning to get one for ages and nearly jumped at this one until I read all the comments...

Got to be Panasonic.

So far not found any nearly as good or better, and I certainly have looked - Philips for some reason are not even mediocre when it comes to DECT phones, yet ordinarily they are a moderately good brand!

Offers come along on here all the time, so while generally expensive, sensible prices can be had if you wait!

My Phillips phones died 2months after their 1 year warranty ran out. Pretty cheap for a phone though

Agree, had Philips, either didn't ring at all or continued to ring after I picked up! Threw this rubbish to bin and bought Siemens Gigaset

Keep away from this. I would buy if if this is less than £5. Had this for 6 months before it died one day peacefully....
