£74.49 - Quidco @ 6.5% = £69.65. Boots points worth £8.92. So total would be £60.73 :-D

I should of mentioned, this was listed as £148-£150 on most sites until those 3 decided to do a half price war on it.

Don't forget you should also be able to use the 10% discount at Boots voucher to get a little bit more off

Possible total (if my maths is right):

£74.49 - 10% = £67.04
- 6.5% QuidCo = £62.68
- 893 points = £53.75

or something like that :)

Very nice, only 4 days left on that 10% voucher tho, so don't hesitate ;)

Boots.com are delighted to be able to offer you this fantastic Triple Points offer; a great big 12 Advantage Card points for every £1 you spend* from Wednesday 25th October to Monday 31st October 2006, at the Boots online shop, no other loyalty card in the UK is more generous.
Triple points* With an increase from 4 points to 12 points for every £1 you spend* during this offer period, shopping at boots.com just keeps getting better.

I'm quite ignorant about Boots as I've never used them but do your points include that? They kinda look they do since £9 of points on a £75 purchase seems alot.

edit: after reading last sentence of boots annoucement i see they do :)

But from my workings out:
£74.49 after 10% discount = £67.4 actually charged
6% of £67.50 = £4.04 quidco
67.50 x 12points = 809 (£8.09?) in points

So all in all £55.27

Great deal schizo.Voted hot and repped:thumbsup:
Another alternative to the 10% discount is to add something to your order (51p or more) and use the 1000 points code for £75 spend (equivalent to £10 on you card) posted here by edi:

If anyone is interested Boots have what seems like a half price sale on all Nicky Clarke electrical goods, hair straighters, hair dryers etc and all the £25 Oral-B electric toothbrushes are now £12.50ish.

PS: Does anyone have this Philips Electric shaver and can you use it in the shower?

* 100% waterproof for use in the shower
as in description :)
#12
Description doesn't match actual user experience, which is what I'm after :)

The HQ8150 is good for the people who don't want the "wet" one
#17
HQ8150 and HQ7782 are both still there with the triple points extended until Tuesday.

Mine arrived with what can only be described with the most depressed courier bloke I've ever seen, will test in the shower tonight.

Hi - what did you make of this product then? Does it work well or is it over-priced/not worth the money?

It was nice to use, sharper and quicker to use than my dry old philips, good to leave charging in the bathroom to just grab and take into shower with me to shave now, as having it as a seperate task puts me off shaving daily.

Got this razor just after being posted, bought it for a xmas present for my son.
My son decided he wouldn't use it,so today i took it back to my local boots store armed with my invoice,a bit unsure as to what they would say as it is 2 months since i bought it.What a result i scored......the invoice has no date on it,so that was in my favour, then they scanned the box and it showed as £148,which is what they refunded me as the invoice also does not show any prices.I paid £67 after 10% discount and got 6.5% cashback from quidco plus triple points. So overall i am in profit by about £86 plus about 800 boots points to boot.:w00t::w00t::w00t:
Anybody who is a bit unsure about the razor i would recommend a return.Or take it back, get the £148 and rebuy at argos or somewhere for £75.:santa:
