The HD iPod dock is here! The Philips DLA99901 HomeDock is one of the most sophisticated iPod docks available. It features an HDMI interface and upscales your iPod's video to 720p or 1080i HD resolutions, so it'll look great on your HD-ready TV.

The Homedock also features a stylish and intuitive on-screen display which makes browsing your music, photo and video collection on your TV an absolute breeze. It will even display album artwork on your TV too. This, combined with full remote control operation, makes the system a joy to use. The remote handset is also an RF type, which means it will even work through walls.

Audio can be output from the Homedock either digitally via HDMI or optical output, or in analogue format via the stereo line output, making the dock compatible with TV sound systems, home cinema systems and hifi/stereo systems alike. Additionally, if you have an older TV without HDMI, don't panic, because the Homedock also has S-Video and composite video outputs.

On top of all this, there's also an auxiliary stereo input, which is ideal for connecting non-iPod MP3/CD players or any other device with a stereo line output.

For high definition video and great digital or analogue audio from your iPod, plus a convenient docking/charging station with remote control operation, you'll be wanting the Philips DLA99901 HomeDock.

Is this an actual genuine apple endorsed product? I only ask as with Apple software updates all none endorsed video leads and docking stations get deactivated.
Otherwise looks like a good product.
The important thing with these is whether they bypass the pod/phones internal decoder- as its crap.
Not sure about this one and dont have time atm to look-but bear it in mind
