I'm not denying this might be a good deal but I would never have a DVD system in my car again. It causes too many arguments and apart from that, at night it's damned annoying as all I can see in the rear view mirror is flashes and I think that someone driving behind is doing something.

I absolutely hate and despise the built in DVD screens in my car - so please, before you buy something like this think about whether you'll mind flashing lights behind you and the fact that your kids will fight about it!

Hahaha that's a good practical viewpoint on the product, still voted hot from me because it doesn't have to be used in a car at all.

next best thing to have in the car when travelling with children or the wife !! Just kidding gets them quite for a while!! just make sure you have dvd's that are not scratched!! wish they had one which i could play of a HD or USB stick.

This deal has been out there for a long time not sure if it the best or cheapest though

I worry that they are dangerous if you crash- couldnt the screens detach and fly towards your childrens' heads? Or are they very well secured?

i dont see what YOUR kids behaviour has to do with the product? ;)

call me old fashioned, but when i was young we did plenty of long car journeys and we passed the time with family debates, and open discussions. My parents told us stories of their childhoods and growing up in another country. I think kids these days have too much authority over their parents, that they need to given entertainment for everything.

Not voted either way, just my 2pence....

Possibly true ... but the ones in my Galaxy are built into the headrests and the kids are that quite away from the screens. These external units would protrude and could be an extra danger but I don't know for sure.

I am offering my experience of having DVD screens in a car with three kids (1 girl & 2 boys) that refuse to agree on anything ... as I guess most 14, 12 and 11 year old siblings do!

I am with Hsuffyan on this and I'd never want a car with these in a car again!
