voted cold for that very same reason.

10 for £1 at poundland = 10p each

2 for 18p at Netto = 9p each

No?

"Dunelm are also selling these, 5 for 50p - so voted cold"

10p each as well - ergo more expensive than the netto offer.

Why cold?

(couldn't be bothered to read the post properly maybe?)

The Poundland and Dunelm deals are good too, but not as good as the Netto offer as others have highlighted.

Heat & rep to the OP for posting a Netto deal :-D

I read it as 18p each after the BOGOF had been taken into account, I'm not the only one to think this so it must be a unclear post. It would have been better if the OP had stated 9p when he posted.

Anyway, Dunelm is a lot closer to me than netto - so still cold :p

I have found these in the past to be too dim and the delay in them coming on annoying. I prefer tesco's own (especially the ones that look like a pigs tail) they are much brighter with no delay.

voted hot even though there isn't a Netto near me

Poundland has been doing the 10 for £1 for about 4 months.

Is it only BC or srew ones as well?

Or 5 for 50p They are philips and have British Gas stamped on the packaging.

These are all subsidised by companies obviously in one shape or another - it goes against their renewables target, carbon offset etc.

Ones that I got were screw caps- I have not found these so cheap before.
