can knock the price anyway so heat added.

normal price is much higher, they are selling them cheap because the government wants people to stop using normal bulbs

The said in the paper a few weeks back about the goverment ending the subsidies on these type of lightbulbs, so might be worth stocking up if they decide to pull the plug..

I don't like these bulbs. Being sold off cheap everywhere. a.not "intant on" b. never as bright as you want c. lose brightness over time.
#8
yes, but be aware that:
1. you already can't buy >60W normal bulbs anymore, and these you can still buy for a few months or 1-2 years more and then they won't be for sale anymore
2. as FTCom says, these energy saving ones won't be cheap anymore soon

The previous energy saving lightbulbs i bought were not instant on but these ones seem to be, not sure if the one i fitted is "dodgy" or the energy saving lightbulbs are now better
