Whoa! Read the one customer review on Amazon - is this why it's been reduced?

Well, user reviews ... who knows.
But I should have read that before I posted.
and here I was dreaming on my first front page deal LOL

I got a cheap Iron from Asda that did that, it tripped my electric every time the water leaked. I would avoid this like the plague if it suffers the same problem!!

i wouldn't worry about the one review on amazon. it was obviously a faulty unit they had. its a bargain price, i just don't need one, but if i did, i'd order this

I agree.. 1 review is meaningless esp when that person is a moaner

I've always bought Philips irons but I usually go for the heavier, £50+ ones (though usually get them on sale) with high pressure steam. The weight alone makes ironing out creases so much easier!

Hi, This is a bargain. Philips generally do not make poor products and Amazon.co.uk customer services are pretty good should the item be faulty. Voted hot.
