Nice looking kettle, and a good price!
Just make sure your house wiring and sockets are OK, a kettle giving a 3kw surge can be an be quite a kick to the system, especially if you have other high load appliances in use at the same time.3Kw is basically the max per single socket outlet, and to compare standard kettles are typically about 2.2-2.4kw.

Funny - just come back from centre parks and they had these in the lodge we booked. Thought it was very good and wouldnt have expected any change from £40 for it so a good deal.

Having a 1 cup marking hardly qualifies it for being energy efficient. Even £4 kettles have that.. You can't really make an energy efficient kettle as it is a rule of simple thermodynamics.
Having said that, the price is OK and it looks OK so go for it if you need a bog standard fast boil kettle.

Slightly off-topic but for Firefox users you can get this "The Camelizer" plugin on addons.mozilla.org

I bought this at £16.90 only 2 weeks ago, is it possible to claim it back?

The 'energy efficient' label sounds a bit dodgy - from the description, it seems to imply that it's energy efficient because you can measure out the right amount of water???oO

To be fair, most kettles have a much higher 'minimum' fill level, so you end up boiling more than you need.

If you have the original receipt you could buy a new one and take it back using the old receipt (_;)

I guess its too much hassle to return it and buy a new one for 3 pounds....unless there is any other way....

Yes you can claim it back. You just have to wait until the end of the tax year & all items purchased from any retailer anywhere during that time, that you over paid for , you can claim back the difference. Just apply to your local Goverment office. They will be more than happy to refund you.

Why is this energy saving? 66% is a hell of a claim.
