Are we talking NEWPORT South Wales ?
Did they have many in stock ?
#5
Swansea store they had a small shelf full of them say about 30 players when i left the store about 11.30 ish.
#6
Super hot for the price, but I had a 6gb version in the same series and it was really really bad. It was slow, crashed a lot and very fiddly.

But this is a hard drive not flash memory, and more RRP so it could be better

but I really didn't like it

I think it was napster-to-go compatible though, which is quite handy if you use that service? (not positive though)

I bought one of these a while ago, not from Woolies, for around £80. It looks good, picture on here makes it look really wide but it's actually similar to a full sized iPod in terms of width and height.

I found the HDD a little slow so it delayed the response from pressing the button to moving through the menus or starting a track. This may annoy you if you are used to flash based players. Other than that, it's pretty good and if this price is correct then worth the money imo.

just took it out the box im very impressed its a touch screen navigation , mains recharged , good heaphones and a carry case too all for 24 quid im totally shocked really.
#9
Damn! I've got to stay in and wait for my plumber! If anyone in the Swansea area could get me one (for my daughters xmas box) I'd be very grateful. I live in Birchgrove

A better pic. Looks good, shame it doesn't show vids.
#11
Pictures WITH receipt please, then you can expect this to hit easily 1000 heat.
#12
I got one of these in a bag of cr4p deal from Boffer, cost £8. :-D
#13
Great find.
#14
Well done OP.
I tried all the Woolies within my driving distance and none had it in.
#15
I suspect not many stores will have this, terrific deal for anyone who finds it though.
#16

#17

Yes, I agree, the RRP means nothing in regards to Ebay, £50 would probably be more realistic.

Out of 4 completed listings in the last week for the same model, 2 didn't sell and the other 2 sold for £50 and £56 respectively.

None in Maesglas (Newport) and its carnage down there queues 20 to 30 deep....
#27
Plenty of reviews via Google. Cheapest on-line price I can see is £65 delivered for a 3 month warranty grade B stock here ;

If only I didn't have a sick baby and work at 4. Queues 20-30 deep is heaven to me - must mean there are bargains to be had.

I'm looking for an MP3 that has loads of storage on it, this would have been ideal. Anyone seen any similar online deals?

#36
husband sent to skeggy store hope i get one
#37
Op are you 'fedupconsumer' off MSE? Same post there.
#38
None in Carlisle.

Store was just full of junk. Nothing new there then.

Lots of people wandering around trying to find bargains, but not really finding much as far as I could see. The long queues of people all seemd to have baskets full of cheap tat (typical Woolwoths stock then...) that was still expensive for what it was.

Virtually nothing in Woolworths that works on electricity now. Apart from games consoles and hair straighteners!

i'm just back from town. Swansea store had loads of these behind the tills as well. was very very tempted but decided i fit enough music on my phone and my phone plays vids so i'll let someone else take the bargain (bet the next person strolled in and bought 5 for ebay or something!)
