Saw this in asda Runcorn on a reduced section shelf hidden behind some Philips component cables (£2.98 for them). Probably store specific but maybe in other stores too?

(looking for "sky pay once" for £50 but still £74.??)

This HDMI cable ensures a reliable connection and features plug and play for easier installation, non-slip ergonomic grip for easy use and a nickel-plated connection for reliable contact. You can depend on this conversion cable for transferring audio/video signals between your components with resolutions up to 1080p.

Full Specification
Model Number SWV2432W/10
Dimensions (WxDxH in cm) 1.5 metre cable
Length of Parts Guarantee (Years) 1
Length of Labour Guarantee (Years) 1

I know you can probably get cheaper HDMI cables but if somebody's desperate to get one immediately you could do a lot worse ;)

True, a lot of people get ripped of paying over say £3/m, but there are a lot of cables inside, and a fully screened multicore cable should be about £2.50/m.
I personally wouldn't pay more than £2 for a HDMI cable.

Perhaps you should look into the properties and applications for HDMI cables.

Watch your draw drop.............................................I had a new TV /Cinama System/ DVD Recorder etc recently.(IN EXCESS OF £1500)

I researched the cables before buying and took some very sound advise.

I needed 2 HDMI X 1M AND 1 AUDIO X 1.5M Cost not for the best but close with Lifetime guarantee I dId say research about these cables before you buy..

£215 yes Ive typed it right

One born every minute.

HDMI cables should be double screened and that's about it. £3/m is plenty.
Agree with joylove. Top of the range HDMI cables are better than cheapo ones, but the price is not worth the gain pound for pound. The same wasn't true of SCART cables. The extra money was worth it for those. But not HDMI.
Just got a Ross HDMI cable in ASDA for £1.50 - Weh Hey!
