Hummm tempted but is this a terrible form of torture on yourself - I pay someone to rip hairs out of my legs - I wonder if I could do it to myself on the rest?!?!?!!?

Why the cold votes?Good price have some heat
#3
seems a good price, £10 more at boots (and that price is an offer down from £56)

I have only used one of these once and it HURT REALLY BAD. I was wondering if the more expensive ones are better for the pain.I used a cheap one so wasn't sure if it was this reason for it being so painful.I know it's a painful process anyway but was wondering if you invest on an expensive one they are better for you??
#5
Hum gone for it - worth a go.............. thanks

Debating this. I have a cheap Tchibo one which I have used for about 3 years, and is fine. First use is awful, very painful. Now I'm immune to it, and can do it whilst watching tv. Only legs though. After taking a nervous dip underarms which lasted all of 3 seconds I haven't ventured anywhere else!

Top tip for those that want to try these out and want to reduce the initial pain is to get some ice out of the freezer, wrap in a towel and hold over the area you are going to epilate.

Heat added :)

I don't think it matters, they all hurt.

Yes, perfect. For some reason, there is no pain in this area.

Only IF they are in a jar next to your bed, otherwise afterwards, they WILL be in a jar next to your bed!
#14
might sound a little gay, but can it be used by guys? like for back etc
#15
Yup, and its not gay. Who really wants to look like Richard Keys, hell even Richard Keys doesnt want to look like Richard Keys (_;)
#16
Cool, and if I use it for my back (which there is no much hair anyway) won't it make it more hairy and with thicker hairs?
#17
No, IF you keep using the epilator the hairs grow back finer each time therefore giving the illusion of reducing the overall amount of them.
#18
I thought thats what laser hair removal would do.. hmm thanks

Gone up to £27-49; luckily I had one in my basket at £18-10 so committed promptly as soon as I noticed the price change!!

I heard bush used these on the men in Guantanamo...

I paid 20 for this and its nothing great. Epilator misses a fair few hairs and shaver isnt the smoothest. so...

My wife used one of these on my back - its great! I get a less hairy back, and she gets to inflict excruciating pain on me, which she seems to really enjoy.

I used one of the Braun ones for a couple of years & thought it was great, smooth legs for a week or so then I noticed the odd ingrown hair here & there that went into raised bumps & I pulled out full grown hairs from them & then they cropped up all over my legs so now I have scars all over & am trying to get rid of them with bio oil. I looked epilators up in Google & so many people are scarred from the same thing, so bear it in mind. Worst thing I ever bought.
