I have ordered a couple more as I have some but paid £24.99 about a month ago.

I went in John Lewis today and still priced at £25 I think. Old price ticket maybe? Or is this online only?

I found it online, as per the link, I have no idea about in store price.

Just an FYI. I ordered 3 from Amazon yesterday, fully prepared to wait the 1-3 weeks. Got a note today that they are arriving Monday.
I know some people prefer using Amazon.

tell that to my Ikea led bulb that just failed after about 6 months.
I am fairly old and can quite easily count to six.

Pretty sure amazon is price matching JL who is paying UK tax. Order two for free collection in store, return one if you do not need it. Simples.

Well John Lewis have guaranteed they will last 2 years. Philips say they should last 25000 hours. I have a couple of the hue white bulbs, one went after a month, the led(s) stop working. Philips arranged for the bulb to be collected and sent a replacement.

Other way round they have been this price and lower for a bit at Amazon.

Won't it be cheaper to get it delivered to a home address rather than the cost of going to a JL once or twice?

£18.74 on amazon - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-Ambiance-Personal-Wireless-Lighting/dp/B01BPDXARK/ref=pd_lpo_201_bs_t_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=1QBJDGN8EB6C88SF8YNY
I think you are thinking of the bog standard white hue bulb that you can only adjust the brightness.
The bulb listed - you can change the shades of white.

I'm very confused over the wattage of these bulbs. Most of my light shades state the maximum that can be used is a 60w bulb (the old kind of incandescant bulb).

I have no clue if these 9.5w led bulbs can be used with these shades or not. Can anyone advise please?

The heat output from these is a fraction of the heat output from a 60w old type of bulb. Also the light output can be dimmed to match that of an old 60w bulb. In a nutshell you can use them but remember you will need a hub connected to your router.
