Bet it hasn't won any for performance though. Philips DECT phones are not up to much, unlesss this one is so very different to the others!

Having several good Philips phones in the past we trusted these as well when they were half price at Tesco's some months back, I agree with nihcaj, sadly lacking in performance. One even lost signal when under a cushion or, wait for it, even if you got your head in the way!!

I am afraid it is straight choice of Panasonic or Panasonic as far as DECT goes.... over the years since they appeared (the first BT one cost 119 quid!), I have tried a good many different brands (and tried out many owned by friends and family members) in the hope of getting one that FULLY meets what I was after, and ONLY Panasonic has done that!
