Depends how close you're getting them to your reading. They're referred to as candles for good reasons; the amount of light they give off is comparable.

They are superb items.

Ordered, hope they're not rubbish.

Ordered one set last week to keep the misses happy. Went for the yellow light. Only problem is that the light is too orange and doesn't look natural at all, misses hates them but still uses them! The flicker is nice, I fooled my little son in thinking it's a real candle. We now keep one by each bed side. It's brilliant for checking on little ones if they are sleeping ok instead of using a table lamp or main light. I question why Phillips did not use a yellow/white LED in conjunction with the other orange LED in the light housing to create a more natural light.

Now you tell us!

TBH mine are for camping, so the kids have got a more interesting light in their tents. Depends how long the batteries last though.
#36
Nice thanks :-)

Heat/Rep given to OP!

Ordered a set that I'll give as a present.

Would have ordered a second set for myself if the blue ones were the same price! :whistling:

Thanks.
