Been routing through Monitor deals on here for a while now trying to find Just the right one for me. For this spec, inputs, and just as important really Brand and Styling, this is Spot on.

Heat added - and Ordered.

ANyone know if this has a component cable input?
#11
VGA, DVI and HDMI.

I did umm over the lack of component, but then figured converting component to One of those 3 isn't going to be a major hassle if I really need to.

LED, Phillips, 23'' under £150.00 Has to be hot.
#14
Interestingly the 24inch isn't LED though according to the specs... not sure how much difference that would make though? (I am now umming over cancelling and re-ordering!)
#15
I need a new monitor; which is better for my eyes? 19" or 23" ?
#16
it247 are doing this 23" variant at £143.71 delivered (using code MYVWIN25) - and you can quidco them too I think? they are also doing the 24" variant at £159.52 delivered (same code)

now remind me, why is the 23" variant at £148.19 from play.com soooo hot ? looks like very standard pricing to me (and not even the best of those!) someone needs to fan the flames on this (not hot) deal.

How come the 24 inch version is still only 1080p? An extra inch but no extra pixels? It's starting to irritate me that phones are getting higher pixel densities than our PC screens.

Anyone know of any cheap 1920x1200 monitors?

Looks good but remember: no UK consumer protection with Play (Jersey). Fine for small items but possibly a risk with kit like this?
#21
very good price indeed looks great
#22

I've read bad things :/
#23
Any idea if this any good for graphic work, photography, photoshop etc?
#24
I actually bought this last week. If I'd known it was so hot I'd have posted the deal myself :p
#25
Well mines arrived and it's a lovely monitor. I will say though that for graphics work etc on a mac, I'm finding it quite over saturated with no easy way to correct, the settings focusing in brightness and contrast which isn't quite enough. Needs time spent on very careful calibration of mac settings I think

Can't find any reviews for this anywhere. It's usually the sound that totally let these things down...
#27
Stay away from play guys. stay away..

Stay away from play guys. stay away..

Why? oO
No worse and no better than any online merchant in my experience

Just to balance a bit of play negativity, my order for this arrived quickly, was emailed with 1hr delivery slot which was met, monitor is in perfect condition. I've no complaints in any regards about the service etc.

I've dealt with play customer service on minor items before, and they've given me no reason to worry about the, for any larger purchases so far.
