Hi, I'm in Stoke on Trent, I'm told most stores have a few in stock although I had the last two in my area.

I drove to 3 stores near me-1 display one in 1 store, 0 in the other-theyve never had them. and 1 in the last store...under the desk without a box said thay cant sell it and that it will be thrown out!!! I was told that there are 7 at another store fairly close by but would have been closed by the time i got there. Will go in the morning now. Also they were coming up at £51.74??
#24
I want one of these. I may try and see if I can get a certain store to price match. Just looking at their site now...

Oh yes - HEAT!!!!

the best thing about this deal is that song when you click on the link, who needs a light to change your mood when you can just play that woman's soothing relaxing song, even though i dont understand its very relaxing.

Im trying to find the title of the song and artist using Shazam on my iphone but its coming up unrecognised, anyone any ideas?
#26
how bright are these please? would they be enough to light up a lounge room? also are replacement bulbs expensive?
#27
they are £51.74 according to the 2 stores I have phoned today

Yeah - that's for the mini version (comes in either black or white). Priced @ £69 less the 25% :)

They are led so no bulb to change.
I have one of the large ones and it's really good depending on what mood you want to create.
We are placing ours out in the hallway tonight, set on Halloween orange throwing a nice ambient glow out through the front door for the trick or treat kids.

Exactly, you throw it in the bin once it dies.

Great for the bedroom.

Cheaper to buy a normal lamp and some quality street. Improve your mood with chocolate, and if you want a different coloured light stick the wrappers over the light... ;-)
#33
Check auction sites and importers of Hong Kong electronics

If you pay £50 for a bunch of LED's and a step-down transformer, you're off your head
#34
i've just checked and you can use your 10% off october card as well.......
#35
ikea do strips of LED lights like this with a remote to change colour or cycle through the colors for £20. Even then, I don't get it. Cheap though since normally between £80-100
#36
there be some humbugs on here

They do look quite clever but that was my thinking, for what it is it does seem a lot..

Do you have a link? I can only find these, which are £50, have no remote and only seven colours... Ta!

Yeah. There are (in my opinion) better ones, GU10 standard fitting as well as screw-in, available with remote for £10-£15. Buy as many as you like for a light fitting - when on the same lighting circuit, they sync up, and can be controlled together with one remote.

Looks neat. More flexible (and no doubt brighter) than this

You don't get a remote with the mini though.

We have had one of these for ages and it's a great light. Especially when watching movies.
