Just found this on Amazon for £18.77 with free delivery, sold by Mymemory. RRP £60 which i know is over priced and never at RRP price but thought £18.77 was a good price if anyone is looking for one, Its the Gen 3 so the latest version to date. Never tried one but seems a good idea. Also i know its been cheaper in the past but seems a good price still.
Its £26.96 on Mymemory website.

They are just ambience lights which are in a way like SAD lights but more for lighting a area of a room to make it look nice at night, I got one for sitting beside a tv for night time watching so its easy on the eyes. Guess some people use them to brighten up a dull room too, so in a way they make you feel better like a SAD light.

That's the single greatest decryption for a SAD light I've ever heard. The companies who make them would be mortified to hear the truth like that……"We're Exploiting these to the fools for £100+"…I…Er…Mean We are SELLING these to the People afflicted with DEPRESSION for a "Market Researched price".

50 lumens..

"Mood lighting" only.

For some perspective - a basic 40w light bulb puts out about 640 lumens.

It is a mood lamp that you can set to loads of different colours and shades

I have the living colours Aura. Brilliant gadget, especially as a bed side lamp. Turn it to bright yellow/orange to get me up in the during the dark winter mornings. I'm currently looking for a hack with this and the raspberry pi so it can come on at timed intervals.

That's an idea but i wanted to take it even further e.g. turns on when I enter the room etc. Could do it with X10 wall socket...hmm
