Been after one of these for ages but still think that is expensive! voted hot anyway..

HOT! Does anyone have one of these - are they bright? Saw them today on display but they were only in a small white unit so couldn't tell.
#3
Seems expensive for a lamp that changes colours, but looking at other sites this appears to be the cheapest!

it is at 79.99 at all b&qs (in the UK) and will be reduced as part of the 15% offer. it can be bright, there are different brightness/colour settings also an automatic setting to randomly go through the colours. not seen it in an actual room though where it will be different than in a warehouse.

I got one when it first came out , to be honest its not as i expected , i wasnt impressed really ...also once the bulb goes thats it the unit will not function anymore so u have to throw it away , can last between 3-5 years depending on your use...obviously if you use it for more then the recommended hours then it will not last as long

Not worth it even at this price , i would say £25-£30 is where it should be.

There is a mini version of it that B&Q dont sell.

The one I bought has a brightness level setting which can make it quite bright!

I agree that even @ £67 it a tad expensive but the build quality of it is very good as it is actually a glass enclosure.

Plus there is nothing else like it!

I guess its the price you pay for unusual things! I'd never pay the RRP of £99

nice concept but so overpriced, maybe at £20 it'd be nice

they will come down, like most things companies rake in the extra dollar at first show then try and sell on their masses after theyve made a whack.30-40quid would be ok retail wise
#9
when they reach Poundland I will buy one
#10
Yeah totally agree with all the previous posts, i would pay no more than £40 and thats the total limit!

Why do you have to throw it away, cant you get a replacement bulb?...was gonna buy one today but I have been put off a little now....do you think the price will come down??

Its got a 1 year warranty with it.

The LED cluster is in built to the unit.

LED far outlast standard conventional bulbs and to be honest I would use it as a substitute for main lighting!

Each to their own. I love it! When placed facing against a wall it does give a nice tone to the room :)
