#4
nice find
#5
do these things really emit that much light as it seems in the ad?
#6
could of sworn these were only £35-45 anyways on amazon like months ago...

They have been on and off of promotion but it was on UKHD about 2 weeks ago. I think the bigger light is better and I have seen it in B&Q for £79.

could buy two for that price though and put them at opposite sites of the room

But do they have 2 million colours and are they Remote Controlled :p
#10
Has anyone got these? Just wondering, does it remember its last colour setting if its physically unplugged? Thinking they can be used with timer switches so they switch on automatically in the evening...

Nope, thats the larger one that does that, here also at a good price now :)

bought this last time it was on here but sent back as I was disappointed with the lack of illumination it gives in a room.
#13
I got the larger one ( as shown in link above) but from Amazon it is REALLY cool and does light a wall up - though i would highly recommend that you get the version WITH remote.

Hot for this price though

I have the large one and the small one. The large one is not all that much brighter, but it does have a nice remote with dimmer and color saturation adjustments. Neither of them will provide enough light for reading in a large room but they are great for small spaces/bedrooms.

hmmm....might have to buy and try ;-)

I didnt think the big one would be THAT different...and tbh not too fussed over a remote...nice but not when for same price i could have two of the smaller ones...

I had to return the first big one tho....was emitting a electric buzzing sound but as usual amazon were great with the DHL return service.

Have got the big one and really like it. One thing that would be a nice improvement is an option to cycle through the colours, other than the demo mode which runs on full brightness and speed.

256 colors? Amazing. But maybe more suitable to be a decoration to the room rather than a lamp.

Is this available in black at the same price? seems to be 75 quid

If it is at same price could someone please provide link :)

I saw these in JL about 4 months ago, i was amazed... then amazed again at the price!

i've owned the large and the small. would gree with others about the large one is so much better. The small one doesnt give out enough light. The big one at the right angle will light up a wall nicely.
#23
I'm going to give it a go for this price - it can always go back. Thanks OP - heat and rep added.
#24
got 2 last week for back lighting my tv in my cinema room, work well for that job, the colour selection dial is sweet to the touch.

Thats what i thought its use was anyways? Obviously others expect more from it

Someone else said the big one was not that much brighter?

Thats exactly what i was thinking enough for mood lighting that all i want.

Can you change the brightness on these? and tbh i think 256 colours is plenty!

Onlythe white is available at this price though, the black & silver come in a litle bit too much higher priced

That went quickly - I think Amazon have sold out so it's reverted back to the price that one of their marketplace sellers is selling it for.

For anybody still wanting one Amazon have the silver one for £44 so not much more than this but only 5 left so be quick:

Probably worth a try as I might be expecting too much and maybe it doesn't suit my house!
But I did show a few people who wern't that impressed really. I think it cost about £4 return postage to get a refund.
