Good price, looked round at xmas for these and nothing below £50

I've been looking at one of these for a sensory device - many thanks!

Yeah a direct link so I can check stock in local store would be great

Only in-store I'm afraid. I couldn't find them listed on their website. I was after the full size one when stumbled across these minis.

Excellent. I paid £59 last time, I took it back because I couldn't find anywhere suitable in my room, might re-purchase though.

H!

Nice but wasteful of energy - not voting either way!

Wasteful? I was under the impression LED lights are the most efficient yet. Do explain?
#10
Erm. what exactly does this do? Seems like the kind of tosh that might make a good late birthday present for my mum :D

I think she/he might be a green mentalist hippy, LED's are one of the most energy effieceint sources of light available, but don't let facts get in the way...... She/he is saving the polar bears dont you know!

Thanks

This is some great stuff, thanks a lot for that.

I had one, but took it back. The remote on my model would not work if you use wireless internet in your house (if neighbours for that matter) as it works on similar frequencies.
#15
What a waste of money. I paid nearly £60 and at first it was used daily. For the last six months or so (two weeks after purchase) it's been stuck in the sideboard in the hallway.

Great price and voted hot for that reason alone. The light is utter tripe.

I have one of the minis and a full size one too.

The full size one is better as you get a remote, it's brighter and it's more adjustable but the mini is still pretty good.

They are a great way to add ambience to a room's lighting but they work best if you have white/neutral coloured walls. If you have a strong colour on the walls they aren't going to produce great results.

no stock in leigh ,lancs ah well maybe next time

I picked up one of these for £25 from my local B&Q a few weeks back in white..

Interestingly it was on a shelf on its own and was brand new..

Then at the back of the store in their clearance section, they had 4 more Mini (black) and they were £50.. But inside the box it was clear they were ex-display.. 2 of them didn't even have PSUs.. On the top shelf there were some full size ones for £65 and the condition of these were unknown.

Everytime I go back, I look to see if they have been reduced further and the same number of Living Colours are sat there, exactly as they have been for week.

So I wonder if the discounts are store specific?

Checked Paisley and pollock b&q. none at all in paisley and one on display that was broken and had no price up etc. :( gutted as I have a full size first gen and was looking for a couple of mini's to help add to the light in the room
#22
Product code for stock check anyone??

Checked my local store again.. They have exactly the same number as they did when my other 1/2 bought her white one.

They have 5 Black Minis, priced at £50 (all of which are not in "as new" condition)

And they also have about 8 'full sized' (V1) ones at £65.. So whilst they are cheaper than the MRP, they havn't be cleared out yet.. so this deal must be store specific.

checked another store and none at all.. no full size in any of the 3 stores either. I'de defo take a full size at £65 though, where is your store? The problem I'm finding is the second gen ones are about £150 and the first gen one are on sale no where now.

why would you pay so much for this?

I tried the Rotherham store and there was none in stock - staff have never even heard of them rather bizzarrely!

Newport, South Wales.. They have a shelf full of them all marked at £65. I have a an original, and whilst I would love a V2, I am very happy with mine... And believe me I paid more than £65 for it, when I got it...

I tried two Manchester stores - Stretford and Cheetham Hill - and the staff there didn't know what I was on about either. Ah well, it was a nice drive.
