still seems like a lot of money for 4 LEDS

I think I'll wait it out until Dealextreme get's them in for $1 ??? ;-)

Personally I think these are well over-priced. £30-40 is way more sensible.

Better option is to go for the Ambx start kit (£30) from The Hut at the moment... :)

Does this have to be used with a PC? or can it be used independently in a room?

Good deal, more everywhere else (that I know of) - if anyone finds this cheaper we'd like to know

This is cold because the light jesus christ is all you need and is free (unless you are catholic). Nothing compares to the light of god.
Thanks, real blender, I love the remark!:lol::lol:

Actually, what worries me is this: "The LivingColors lamp and remote control are guaranteed for 1 year. LED's (sic) are not replaceable, and life span of the LED bulbs is 4-5 years based on 3 hours of usage a day."

Granted, it has a cute and topically fashionable design but it has only 15 W of output, has a guarantee of just one year and, on a basis of 3 hours usage per day, an expected life span of just 4-5 years. I think I'll stick with candles for now and hang on till these drop to 25 quid or less.

So what you're saying is, if every light in the world went out we'd be ok because some overhyped beardy bloke and his equally overhyped old man from an ancient tale will enable us to see........oh dear.

I rather think your post is one of those sit back and wait for the reaction type of posts. ;-)

Who in their right mind would waste £80 on this rubbish?

Armsey " Can anyone find it cheeper??? "

Don't know about now, but I paid £66 for this at Amazon only 3 months ago, Amazon's prices are up & down, I'd stick it on your wish list & wait.

these were reduced to £65 at B&Q, n if yer gran took ya shopping it would have cost £58.50
only time these will become worth it would be when they hit the £40 mark
