I got the ipod dock version of this for my 15 yr old brother, got it for £60 from richer sounds a month or so ago. I think is identical except for the dock.

The set itself looks OK from afar but close up it looks and feels plasticky, the speakers are a bit tinny and sounds "flat".
I plugged in a good set of speakers from an old Hifi and the sound was much better/richer, thus the system iteself is able to produce good sound.

Not voted as the price is OK but you might be better spending a little more for a system with better speakers. If you dont need DAB get the analogue version (also has iPod dock) from richer sounds for £40 (was £30 a few weeks back), at that price I'd be willing to forgive the average speakers but at £60 I think you should get more.
You should watch this as a nice compact DAB set for the kitchen/bedroom with the ability to play normal radio plus CD's, not to a full blown HiFi set for a megaparty ;)

I agree you're never gonna get living room sound from something like this, but I still feel that for £60 you should get better speakers especially as the system seems to be able to produce decent sound given the ability.

Its entirely subjective as most likely the sounds from those speakers will be perfectly acceptable for most.

Item will be delivered by Yodel and will be despatched the next working day. Deliveries take place Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 21:00 and must be SIGNED FOR'

Good luck with that.... The most useless courier company out there... used to be HDNL.
Not dissing the deal, but i've had one problem after another with this courier company.
Got one of those a couple of months or so ago when they sold on Amazon for around £40.
OK for the kitchen if you have not got a DAB radio yet, but not a hot price.
