I bought one of these before and the problem is it's way too big compared to the normal multiplugs.

Yes I was planning to write the same thing - excellent for a fiver but it takes up a LOT of space for a 5 outlet multiplier. It also doesn't offer any greater flexibility - the sockets are where they are. But a 5x surge protector for £5, great price.

I bought this before also. Although it is large and cumbersome, I found it was helpful when plugging in things like Homeplugs or certain chargers which can often overlap adjacent sockets. I have it behind the TV and have found the flexibility to be helpful.

On the other hand, I can't remember what I got it for before (I got two) but I think it may have been 2 for £5 but as I can't remember I won't vote hot or cold.

Heat & Rep added. I bought 2 of those Belkin 8 Way protectors the other week and can only use like 5 of the sockets anyway dso would prefer to switch to these behind the TV/AV system.
