Sounds great... one thing I don't get though is when I buy orange juice, I like the kind that has some of the pulp still in it, not the "smooth" kind - all juicers seem to collect the pulp seperately. Aren't there any that take out the seeds etc but leave the pulp in? I like pulpy juice!

Research has indicated that a reaction of fruit acids in aluminium may be connected to the onset of Alzheimers. Is their a similar model in stainless steel?

I use one of these, got it from costco for 17 quid!! (pricing error I am sure)

The aluminium is outside and is the casing, the juice never touches the outside and it is all plastic inside, except the stainless steel basket. So do not worry.

I did have a white plastic juicer and it discoloured, this is so easy to clean and looks good too. I can't recommend this phillips one enough.

Used the Hellmans code and got the total price down to £45.90 including free delivery. And triple points on my nectar card too. Here's to a healthier new year. Thanks :-)

I already have one of these juicers, and it is absolutely fantastic. It is definitely the best juicer I have ever had, and I do a lot of juicing!

It doesn't just do fruits, it's great for carrots, celery, raw beetroot, watercress, fresh ginger - the list goes on and on... I would definitely recommend this juicer - in fact, I might just buy one for my mum for Christmas, so thanks to the OP for spotting this one :santa:

Yep I bought it for my mum for christmas today - as the other poster said, the aluminium is just the outside casing. And I think it has some sort of setting for making your juice clear or a bit bitty. The pulp extractor is so that you can just bung whole apples and oranges in and stuff so you don't have to peel anything (can someone who has one already confirm this?).

Am sorely tempted to get one for myself as well...

Thanks for posting the picture up - I copied the image address from amazon but for some reason its not coming up.

This is an excellent juicer. It is well made (unlike the jack la lanne one) as it has a completely stainless steel basket. Most others have a plastic one with metal mesh and these break very easily.

All of the parts are very easy to clean, as long as you clean them immediately after use. I mainly just run them under a hot tap but every now and then you might want to run them over with a brush. You actually get a brush with this to clean the basket as well, this is very useful.

I'd like to come up with a downside to this juicer but I cannot.

Hi

Just wondered if the price has recently changed on this as it now shows it at £69.99, not £49.99.

Would definitely get this if it was still at £49. Been looking for a decent one of these for ages.

Cheers for any info.
