i've been cutting my own hair for years..27 years to be exact......paying someone to cut ur hair must be one of the biggest cons of the century:thumbsup:

I have one of these - highly recommended - particularly at this price. Wide cutting width = very quick.
I've had cheaper models that last about a year before the cheap non replaceable batteries give up.:x

I have one of these, works very well. Bit harder to do the back without help. Certainly a good money saver.

posted two weeks back. was hot. good to see at this price again.

These are really painful to use with the grader on and take several passes to get an even cut. Taking the grader off and going down to the wood makes it a better set of clippers in my experience.

Bought same from argos 'bout year ago for similar price, may have been couple of quid more. And I would highly recommend them. Very quiet, very light ,charge lasts for 5 or more cuts and you can always run of the mains once bat is exhausted. I was a bit sceptical about the smallness of the blades as other clippers have always had a big wedge of metal but these really do a great job. I have never used the moving head part as the mrs does mine.

Bought these for my partner in Argos reductions a couple of weeks ago.....hot from me. X x

Thanks:thumbsup:

HAd one for a year and they are brilliant.

For skinheeds like me you should know that your options are "to the bone" then too long. Unlike traditional clippers, these cannot do "half" grades.

how many millimetres would a crew cut be?
#31
I've got this clipper, it doesn't cut as short as my old Wahl did, even on the shortest setting, and if you remove the guard altogether it shaves virtually down to the wood.
Apart from that its a good product and easy to use.
I usually have a grade 1 on the sides and back and a grade 2 on top. This clipper seems to only be a grade 2 with the guard on and the depth control on its lowest setting.

thats annoying :(

I'd agree with that, it's why I don't bother with the grader on mine anymore and then it's a joy to use.

Thanks for this, ordered from Amazon because I have to be at home to wait in for deliveries. They sound better than my present Babyliss clippers, as they only charge for one cut, and the head is too small, so takes ages to cut your hair. I noted the comments on the grader possibly being too small, but I`m a `down to the wood` guy anyway, so the grader will be probably coming off then! Heat added:thumbsup:

I bought one of these for my boyfriend last year and took it back, he had a mains powered wahl one but beat this any day for speed of cutting. Might be great if you've never used one before :p
