This has been posted same price at Argos where I actually picked it up after seeing the post today:

And the reviews from HUKD users seem to be quite positive.

Can anyone let me know what are the 'length sizes'? You can ahve 0... and then whats the next one? I usually use 3mm one so that would be handy if someone posted what are the actuall sizes...

thanks

Hmmm, that is what i would be getting one for. Might give it a miss as i like a nice short zero.

The combs do 3-21mm. Can you cut your hair without the combs, as in a number 0?

From the website:

2 combs for length settings: 0-10mm and 10-20mm

Hope that helps.

does anyone know if these are good for precision trimming around sideburns? ive bought so many hair clippers that just dont get it tight enough.
#14

You can do it without the attachment, as it says on page two, mate:

Clipping without comb attachment
You can use the clipper without comb attachment
to clip your hair very close to the skin (0.8mm) or
to contour the neckline and the area around the
ears.
Note: When you use the hair clipper without a comb
attachment, the clipper cuts the hair very close to the
skin.
#15
Ah, thanks. I missed that.

Hotter deal than the Argos one IMO. I dislike Argos for the highly inflated prices and they're 'cold self-service' stores. Amazon however? Free P&P and have never failed to provide quality products on the other hand. I'd much rather give my money to Amazon than Argos. H&R added, thanks!

Great find. Ordered!

These ok to use with beards ?
#20
cool argos oos in my area
#21
Went for one of these ... my bro usually cuts mine with his trimmer and just about be-heads me each time.:prop:
I reckon if I can get him to do the initial cut I can give it a once over myself once a month or so - hope this plan works as I don't fancy a beheading.

Bought this ages ago when Argos had it on half price (think it was 25 quid from 50 or thereabouts) The zero setting is a bit misleading as it doesn't get it right down (hmmm..might start and use my braun face shaver for that) and the swivel function is more of a novelty as i just use it in the standard setting after the first couple of tries. However it hasn't gone wrong unlike my last remington so voted hot.
#23
Cheers for the heads up. Just placed a ressy at Argos.
#24
I've had 1 for over 2 years, still very happy with it - it cuts as close as any mains powered clipper set, and the swivel function is very good for the back of the head. Heat and rep added.
