I've got these clippers.
They are good clippers and stay sharp..... But the lowest setting does not cut as close as the grade 1 i always have. If you remove the guard altogether then they cut your hair almost bald. Its only for this reason that i bought a Remington Ceramic clippers, which are more conventional clippers.
Good price for these though, so hot.

Good spot! Thanks for posting :D

Does anyone use these to taper between top and sides/back? e.g. I normally get a grade 2 on the sides and back, and a grade 6/7-ish on the top. Is this easy to do on your todd?

cheers op, i was looking at those round shaped babyliss clippers for a diy solution, but after reading bad reviews have plumped for this. and its half the price of the babyliss ones too :)

Thanks OP - I think these are the ones that amazon had on the black friday deals, and I missed out on them. Thats another present sorted - Cheers!

These any good? The Clippers I have at the moment are pretty useless cuttin to no. 1 unless I give my hair a couple of weeks to grow.

I bought a pair of these for their longest setting which is about an inch - they give me a trim as good as my local barber who charges £9 a pop - they've paid for themselves a few times over already.

I do my hair with these every week or so - they are great. Stay nice and sharp and the battery lasts for ages. I would imagine tapering would be tough though unless you have a lot of mirrors around you! ;)

I've had these for two years or so, bought another set in the Amazon Black Friday sale as they are excellent. If I had to quibble I'd say the guards are a little flimsy and can snap but after two years of use I think that's reasonable.

these are great clippers
#12
its very hard to trim around yr ears with these ,and tapering is difficult ,but they stay sharp as mentioned

The guard just slides off. Not just the toothed guard comb, but the black plastic guard holder as well.

At £20 its a steal!
I've got these clippers, they're very good. I''m off to get my second pair :-)
But I would strongly advise people to take out the Argos Extra care cover as well. I've had the long clipper attachment break twice! replaced a year ago for about £4, but they'll now set you back about £12 inc postage

I know these clippers well. Very good battery power, cheapest price you will find them. Recommended.

Can anyone tell me if these are any good for a grade 0 all over, once the guide has been removed?

I currently have some traditional clippers which cut great but I'm after something that will make the process a bit quicker.

Thanks
