Philips QC5170 Mains Rechargeable Hair clipper.

Been on the look out for it under £30, so £25 with super saver delivery seems like a good deal.

Does miss a few hairs unless you constantly clean the blade but that only takes a few seconds
Its great for doing stubble as well when you use it with no guard on

I bought it at this price before xmas on amazon

It's very good. In fact, it can be too good as I found out to my cost when I forgot to put the guard on! Still, it doesn't take long for my hair to dry now!

Had mine a few years but starting to catch a bit now. What's the best way of cleaning the blades?

Price flucuates a lot - has been as low as £12.50 but right now this seems the best deal - heat added

Had this clipper for a couple of years and after the first year it started to catch a lot and miss more hairs. They are ok but think there should be something better out there. Still, best price for these at the moment.

I bought my OH this so he can cut his hair himself,it's brilliant.

Had for a few years, use it, about 4 times a year at most. Always clean it after and never catches. Good for going crew cut when the temps go up. More cost effective than going to the barbers and asking fir a number 2
