bought one of these and they are awesome
#3
reviews seem good. ordered a set to replace my Remmington clippers that were never such a good cut.
#4
Muuhahaah - the horror I can inflict on my children with these!
#5
These are really good. Been clipping my hair for years with various clippers, these are the best I have used.
#6
will it be good for beard trimming
#7
brilliant price for great clippers
#8
Also got these at same price. Well worth the money. Will go back up to £50 soon?

Got one of these... really good clippers!
#10
I have these too. Great clippers!
#11
Had some of these for about 3 years.

They are very good and the battery lasts a long time with them. Easy to use on your own.

The only thing I find is that they only go down to a Grade 3 or 4 in length, so I do find I need to use them every 4 to 7 days.

Very good bargain.

i bought these last year, and are great to use, but found that the max 21mm length is a bit too short for me, though its just right for my 4 year old son. i am looking at slightly longer clippers around 40 mm.
#13
bought these last wkend at Argos for the same price. they make doin the back so much easier than with reg clippers
#14
I'm guessing these are no where near a 5 or 6 cut which is what I get?

I have these and with the shorter comb on cuts short enough for me - down to 3-4 mm. The only trouble I have had is that the teeth on the comb have broken and they do not seem to sell a replacement comb - you have to buy a new unit.
#16
been shaving/trimming hair for years and my current Babyliss ones are broken so decided to give these a go as have had Philips before, plus the reviews on Amazon say they can give an extremely short cut (less than a Barber 1) which is what I like !

on some of the reviews i read they said that the combs can be removed leaving only the blades for a very short cut - this better be true as that's why i picked them !!

As a rule i use the Wahl Powerdrive Mains Clipper Kit from argos (Item number 442/4675) and in the summer months have it down to a Zero (no guard basically) in winter months go for a 0.5 or 1, does anyone know what this is like when you whip the guard off completely.

Yes, the combs are removable and it can be used next to the skin easily.

The cutting blade is 4cm wide and can be swapped for an included 1cm wide blade for detailed work.

Excellent trimmer.
#20
Sorry, make that a 15mm small blade, not 10mm.
#21
I have these and dont usually even bother using the 360 degree head just use them in one position and find it easy.

I also use it without any grade thing on it just use the bare blade.

Could these be any good for 'body use' .. IE like the Philips Bodygroom thingy? Or always 'heid only'? I think we should be told! Cheers!

To all owners I need about 2-3mm cut can I achieve this with this products
#25
I have these and think they are rubbish, tried 3 times now and still think the same.Waiting for another good deal to replace these. I know i am in the minority but there you go.

Just doesnt cut as good as others i have had it cuts in tufts. The design seems to keep the hair close to the blades once its cut. Maybe its better when you cut short hair reguarly if you know what i mean, me being lazy i suppose. I have been using clippers for years and these have been the worse i have had.I read the reviews before i got them and there are only one or two like me so they may be ok for you.

One Amazon review says they don't and if you want a grade 0-1 cut then look elsewhere. Shame as my Remington ceramic are getting a bit tired and I need a grade 1 cut since I'm a bonafide slaphead, and since there's no cure for baldness whatsoever I'm stuck shaving my head for years to come. Ah well I'll stick to ceramic blade cutters they do the job for me.

if that is the case then they will be going back as like you i need it to be virtually shaved !
#36
would agree that they won't do a grade 0. You can take the guides off and they'll cut to about 2mm but won't shave you.
#37
I have used there for couple of year. Comb broke 1 and needed a new unit and they dont cut close enough around my ears with the comb on. but still best one ive found up to now. If i shave my head without the comb i have no hair at all so i dont know how some people are managing 2mm with no comb

Registered so i can say thanks to the original poster for this deal, id add heat and rep if i knew how to!oO
