brilliant, saved hundreds.
do my sons head and mine all the time. gave him a mullet this time, looks real pro job.

cordless and oh yeah the battery will last you FOREVER.

have charged mine ONCE in the last 7 months no joke.

bought mine with a 3 year gaurantee dont think i'll be needing it.

Just Devils Advocate on these. I had them but wanted a true zero like to the wood kinda thing. They don't do that and before i got to wanting that short they didnt go anywhere close to crew cut style. So if you want a close shave all over avoid. Other than that trimming down to a neat all over short style buy away :)

I bought a wahl super taper hair clipper from Amazon. From ebay I bought a wahl !.5mm comb attachment (green coloured) which you don't get with any clippers anywhere. This will give you the cut you want. The trouble with this Philips product is that the guards are a bit flimsy and break. Expensive spares mean it's almost better to buy another one at this price. I've had two but have now given up.

How long have you had it for? Mine doesn't hold charge very well for very long, might need to get another.

Take the guards off for a real close cut, I do.

If you want a bic orange master look and feel then these are not quite upto the job, but if like most other people who want a standard mop chop then these are the best set of clippers I have used and the 180 degree swivel feature works...

Yep, That's what I do.

100% recommended from me! excellent build quality and a REALLY close shave without the guard, one of my better purchases.
#15
the clippers i have now i don't use the guard as i have a skinhead, thats wot i want these for as my others ain't cordless so not sure now as some say they don't leave it short or is that because they have the attachments on so do a number 1 and not to the bone ?
#16
Either too long with the lowest gaurd on or too short without it.
Good quality though.
I use these to trim downstairs now.

Had mine for about a month to 6 weeks, charged as recommended for 24 hours BEFORE first use. Used 4 times and haven't had to charge again yet.- used for an all over number 0 (cuts to 0.8mm actually, so nearer to 1mm) not as close a cut as my other clippers, but found I can live with that to be honest. Takes slightly longer to use these to cut my hair as you have to go against the hair direction, and takes a while to get used to doing that (for me anyway after doing it a certain way for 15 years now), but once you get used to it it's no bother and find that I cut my hair a bit more often now too as I don't seem to make as much mess so it's easier to clean up.
I'm pleased with them anyway... my friend still has his hair cut at a barbers/hairdressers and costs him at least £4 every time just for the same type, so even over the last month or so these have nearly paid for themselves already.

Thank god it's not just me. The reviews reckon these are the best thing since sliced bread but if you want a close cut (but not a skinhead), then these don't cut short enough with the guard on, and are too short with the guard off. So while I do currently use a set of these and the pricing is ok I doubt I'd buy again.

what muppet expired this, still available in stock at the same price!
#20
looks like a fantastic deal but it has no variation between grade 0 - 1. Most clippers have a lever on the side to adjust the actual blades, this one doesn't.. il give it a miss

These clippers are worst I have ever had. They cannot shave around the ears properly so you have to remove the guard and then end up giving yourself a VERY close shave. The battery does not last as long as it is claimed and the last two times I used it the clipper ran out of charge. The swivel head is good tho. The clippers leave lots of stray hairs - far more than my very old and unmaintained wahl clippers ever do. I CANT recommend these to anyone.

Can't agree with comments above. Have used mine without any issues so far. I pull my ears down and these go over that area without any issues. If they run out you plug them into mains and they work immediately. I love the fact I can now cut my hair in front of the bathroom mirror so the mess is easier to clean up, I can't do that with mains powered ones. I love the way the head swivels, by far the best clippers I have owed for a long time. If they hadn't expired, I would have considered buying another pair for my holiday home.

Just purchased my second set, these are great clippers. Thanks to the OP!!

Why expired?
#25
Just ordered thanks
#26
Looks like some other a'hole expired again.... just don't get why people do that when it's obviously still for sale via the link.
#27
NOT EXPIRED
#28
I agree, there are too many a'holes that use this site. These are good clippers but they do not go quite short enough and the no attachment cut makes me look like a rapist.
#29
Well this is not expired yet, I just placed my order and am benefitting from next day delivery free of charge as I recently opened up an account... Great!
