Hair or the grooming kit?

I had this - eventually had to return it. Its just too flimsy. Impossible to keep the accessories in the stand.

Trust me, theres a reason whey these get reduced in price periodically!
#4
I have to agree...these are quite poor

slightly off topic but can anyone recommend a decent priced body groomer for your nads/pubic area? ;)

Nice find! although I'm tempted to pay the extra for the 'Alan Titchmarsh Ratchet Loppers with Extending Handles'

I've had this for years and it's still going strong.

I have this http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&catalogId=1500002701&langId=-1&searchTerms=PHILIPS+7+IN+1+DELUXE+GROOMING+KIT

From the pic it looks the same.

Its one of the best trimmers ive ever bought.

-Its not that loud.
-The charge lasts for quite some time
-The shortest trim setting (without any attachments) is very short (way shorter then the Barba)
-It comes with many useful attachments, like the foil shaver (works), beard and hair clippers, nose hair remover etc

Im looking for any other beard trimmer that can cut shorter then this. Ive got a rotary trimmer, but that gives me rashes, as does wet shave, so this trimmer is the only thing i use that wont give me a rash, whilst providing a very close trim.

I might just order another one, im sure its the same as the argos one.

There can't be much to trim then, which is why they've lasted for you! Seriously, attempt to shave anything more than a weeks beard growth and you will see just how flimsy the attachments are, they snap REAL easy!
#16
But will it take my knackers off??
#17
I've had a similar Philips one to this for many years now, handy when you can't be bothered having a wet shave. The stand isn't up to much but I only really use it to charge it up then have the shaver in a wash bag.

(All references are to facial shaving only - no genitals!)

This. Every time. My attachments are held together with lots of superglue.
Also, these don't get particularly close - I end up having to use my old Philips triple head razor under my chin. I normally keep my beard at #'2 and keep it tidy underneath.

so yes, it's crap. And I keep meaning to find something alternative (awaiting suggestions)

Well I wet shave every day

I guess if you're going to use it primarily has a harsher purpose like regular beard trimmer you should buy a better product made for that reason

I use this on my crown jewels every week, my nose, around my side burns, and sometimes to clean up a little face stubble

Stay away if you look like **** Chuck Norris

+1 except i dont have a major problem with the attachment coz i only use 1 but my problem is these dont trim particularly close , i dont keep a beard btw my old Remington was better, but discontinued product, anyone have any better alternatives, my ears are wide open seriously wanna dump this crap, thanks

I've got one from the last time it was on deal. It's ok, works for trimming my hair (what's left of it) and beard and you can't try to trim with any speed or it get's stuck easily!

Smaller than it looked in the picture, not like the Wahl corded ones. Overall though, it's decent for a wire-free trimmer at that price. Want something to cut hair that's fairly long then get a propper one!
#23
what the hell are you trimming to snap em!? I have a fairly thick and quick growing beard (twice a day shave needed to keep 'shaven') type of guy and I can't see what/how you're breaking. To be honest, if you press to hard or in the wrong direction the changeable head will seperate from the body before you do anything else.

To be fair, the little foil razer head isn't up to much beyond a close shave around your sideburns - you wouldn't want to do your whole face with it.

For those who are looking for decent body trimmer i would recommend babyliss one i been using one for few years and it's still going strong. The only drawback is battery won't last that long after few years. Hope this helps

Expired, expensive again.
