Bought one of these a few months ago. The twist head is great ideal and battery life goof, but find it does not cut very well and have to keep going over. Perhaps just my hair

The price goes up and down from full to half price. I wanted these and had to wait for a month or so till the price fell.

Unlike Dinger I find they cut very well, I love the no wires and twisty head element. To indicate how good they are, with the last set I used to clipper every 4 weeks as it was such a hassle and took SO long. I also had to get a pro job done every 3 months or so to cover up the increasing uneven job.

With these clippers I do it every week and it takes about as long as it does to shave my chin.

The only problem I had is that if it starts to loose its charge (after 3-4 weeks) performance does suffer, so I just keep it topped up...

Got a pair of these for christmas from Argos when they were the same price. I cannot fault them and get a good cut plus the deisgn is very good and fits comfy in your hand and the 180 degree tilting head makes shaving your own hair even easier

EDIT - I normally used grade 4 on the smaller clip and cut my hair about every 3 or 4 weeks

I have these, they aren't much cop for a full crop. :D Wahl corded can't really be beaten.
The price is good but they take ages and I don't use the swivel as I'm used to a fixed blade.

Have had a set of these that i got on my wifes advantage card(Boots) for about £17 ages ago. No probs, except all the lads on my rig borrow them! One guy has just paid £45 for a set! Mug!

I've had a set of these for over a year and they're a pain in the backside to use with the grader on as you constantly have to go over and over the same spot to get an even cut. If you don't mind having your head shaved down to the wood though, then they work very well without the grader on.

Been using hair clippers for years and had many different kinds/makes.
The one thing I would advise is to get ceramic cutters before stainless steel.

These are superb, I posted them in another deal a few months ago. Best clippers I've ever used.
#10
I have these and i find them better than corded variants, you can wander round while shaving your head much to the wifes displeasure :-D They have self sharpening blades which appear to work as previously the corded remington cutters i had needed to be lubricated with wd40 for a clean cut.

Keep them charged up before use and its like a knife through butter, check out my avatar :w00t:

I've been looking for a set of clippers for downstair shaving. I might invest. How effective is the protective guard?
#14
I'm trying not to be childish and giggle at downstairs shaving..lol

the grading works really well. Bear in mind it's in mm not grades. number 3mm = grade1.
They take twice as long for a full haircut though.

Don't worry; they're cordless - you can use them in whichever part of the house you want ! :):):)

Thought i'd give you my opinion on these... which was the reason i thought i'd post this deal.
I've been using a Wahl 300 for the past few years, which cut well but were heavy and a PITA to faff about with oil to keep them sharp, also the cord was annoying and would have to use an extension lead as well. They had got too blunt to cut properly so i bought these Philips clippers a few months ago for £30.
These Philips are an absolute joy to use... razor sharp, no need to oil, really compact and light, and ergonomically good to handle. I've now cut my hair 5 or 6 times with them on a grade 1 and they are still running on the first charge i gave them.
I cant recommend them highly enough.

Great been hovering over buying these for a while, churlish not to give them a try at this price.

Do these cut at 0.5mm or 1mm with a comb attachment or do you have to take it off ?
#25
The closest is 3mm, you would have to take the comb off, or you might prefer this

I have got these. I found the swivel head pointless, I find it easier to change my grip as needed.
That said they are small, light and work very well.

Just bought 1 today..

I don't want a skinhead
Anyone use these for longer cuts? (IE: Barber shop grade 4 :?:)

Cheers
