I have had this shaver for almost a year. It is quiet compared to my previous Phillips razers and the attachments are a neat touch. The head assembly is easy to clean.

until the last few weeks, I would have called the closeness of shave good but probably behind my previous models. However, in the last few weeks, the Razer is giving a very poor shave and to be acceptable, it is taking me twice the time. I have cleaned the heads several times without improvement. essentially, I am probably going to have to buy replacement heads which cost around £60. This is much sooner than I have experienced in the past.

I also found with the newer Phillips heads that shave quality suffers. In my case a loop or washer of hair builds up on the small central spindle of the foil head itself. I think this creates a tiny gap for the cutting heads which is enough to affect shave closeness. Use tweezers or a pin to pick the loop from the base of the spindle.
