£30 everywhere else, over 300 sold... this is a steal
#4
how does this compare to the senheisser hd 201?
#5
"Hear what's going on and listen to your headphone DJ-style"

Does that mean that these are designed to allow outside noise in?
#6
Does "ebuyer outlet" even exist? This just seems like a normal ebay seller
#7
Do they leak a lot of sound? Forgetting appearance, could i use them on a long coach journey and not have people hear me listening to Abba?

On the Phillips website the headphones are described as being able to be used with just one can over your ear, thats what this is trying to describe, hence the 'DJ-Style' Im not sure about whether or not it leaks out/in a lot of sound though, I would imagine so.

Full quote: "Hear what's going on and listen to your headphone DJ-style

It is a reversible ear shell for listening with one ear"

My good what a big deal your all making about parting with £12.99 when clearly they sell at twice that amount - absolute bargain for those who know what they're buying !!! - for those who don't know go to poundland Lol
#13
so do these cover your ears completly cos i got some philips one earlier but they just about cover your ear hole only ?
#14
thanks! bought one. bought something from ebay for the first time since signing up about 5 years ago...
#15
I believe they easily cover your ears unless you share the same genetics as dumbo
#16
i need some wireless ones.. can't you find a bargain one of those please? lol.

heated nonetheless for fab price
#17
Couldn't resist a real bargain, bagged one
heat added
#18
Are these closed or open headphones? The Philips site states Closed, open. Which is it? lol

*I bought two of these. One for using outside (as my Sennheiser 438s are embarassing) and another as a gift for someone, somewhere in the future.

how do you know it ebuyer outlet ?
#20

It's not. It's nothing to do with ebuyer. These are too cheap even for ebay prices so are probably fakes. I thought ebay deals weren't allowed

Because i reckon a lot of people are buying them thinking it's from a trustworthy shop, when it really isn't

i highly doubt someone with 120000 sales and top rated ebayer would be selling fakes...

They're a limited company:-

The only ones I could see that would rival these for this price would be the Sennheiser 407s from Play?

Anyone reckon these will be better?
#29
Damn this site. Thats over £500 in one day ive spent on stuff i dont really need. Does this site carry the UK through a recession?
#30
Cheers for this. Need a decent pair for the treadmill.

Thanks for clearing that up. So the quote is referring to the ability to flip one of the ear shells up. Looks like they are marketed at general usage not just for the DJ style so I don't think they are designed to leak.

Damn you hotukdeals, i'm now buying stuff i dont need. But it is a good bargain though...
#33
thanks, just what i need!
#34
already sold 1334, 563 left still i think
#35
Hot, how good are these though? Fancy a pair of headphones but listen to a lot of bassy music and there aren't any reviews available to take a look at so not sure if these would suit me.
#36
Ordered :)
#37
Bargain! thankyou :)

Be very wary of fake headphones on ebay, they will look identical but sound awful, things to look for are photocopied instructions (single sided when should be double sided) and the boxes normally are generic (blank) with a manufacturers bit of card over the top of them, also the manufacturer stickers will come off easily on the headphones themselves. They do really good fakes and would be very hard to tell, sometimes the casings will be legit, but the internals a cheap knock off. Personally I wouldnt buy these. But hopefully they turn out to be ok for everyone that does.

The eBay deals are genuine. ask yourself why ebay would features fakes headphones. It doesn't make any sense at all.

Wont the headphones have a S/N at all? If people have a set and may be able to comment that should help us. I'm going to suscribe to this thread so I know if they do turn out to be fakes
