Had one of these when they were on offer with Orange for about 20 quid a while back.
For a tenner you cannot go wrong.
#2
they also had them in the a127 store

5.6 Volt dc output.................only for phones and ipods then..................seems like overkill to me.
#4
My apologies I just checked and mine is the SCE7640 model with the extra outputs.
#5
Seems like a good way to recharge my Nintendo DS and Sony PSP on the go, thanks.

OP didn't say click on deal........HUKD does that....I did this as an offline deal on the site....HUKD always tends to take you to the store website even for offline deals

This was discussed in great detail when the orange version of this was out (more outputs I think?)

And sadly, the answer was no, it didn't output enough for the Joggler.

Would this work with a dvd player? And can someone just confirm that this has the 3 pin plug socket?

No it charges through a USB port.

'* Charging via the USB outlet of a PC, laptop or USB adapter is convenient as you don't have to rely on having a suitable AC power outlet.'

This is the baby brother of the Orange one from a few months back.

It's more for MP3 Players and Mobiles.

Anyone know will this actually charge up a run down iPod touch ?

do you want to charge a portable DVD player?

I have 2 dvd players, they both have no batterys so wont charge up the only way i can use them is if they are plugged into the mains - I want to use it on holiday in the airport, plane etc so i cant have them plugged in. So im looking for something like a portable battery pack which has a socket that i can plug the dvd player into - Do you know what i mean?

So this is a portable DVD player with a screen? If so this might possibly work but it depends what the power requirements of the dvd player.

TBH I doubt it will work.

Won't even do that. Spec says 350mA max, which isn't enough to charge many smartphones.
#28
bah! could have done with this for my iphone 3Gs but if it does not charge it :(
#29
Yes portable DVD players and no it won't work cos it's not got a socket for me to plug the plug into lol oh well I'll keep looking. Thanks anyway.
