Product Description
Manufacturer's Description
The Philips Senseo Coffee Machine brings a whole new meaning to the phrase 'the perfect cup of coffee'.
Because it uses unique Douwe Egberts coffee pods (one per cup of coffee) that are specially designed for the Senseo machine you can have the perfect cup of coffee with the same great taste every time at the press of a button!

Douwe Egberts is the number one roast & ground coffee brand in the UK and they have worked in conjunction with Philips to produce the perfect blend of coffee & machine for the perfect taste.

More than 10 years in development and market research, the patented Senseo coffee-brewing system automatically uses the right amount of water and ensures that the water passes through the Senseo coffee pods quickly and evenly, maximizing the flavor from the coffee bean. The brewing process guarantees a perfect cup of fresh coffee within a minute every time. Available in three colors: blue, black, and white.

One or two cups of sensational coffee at the touch of a button at any time of the day. Make one four-ounce cup of delicious coffee in approximately 30 seconds two four-ounce cups or one eight-ounce mug in approximately 60 seconds.
The patented brewing system from Philips always uses the same amount of water and Senseo coffee pods. With the 1450-watt boiler, the water is always the correct temperature and filters quickly and evenly through the coffee.
The water reservoir is detachable, making it easy to fill under the tap. A full water reservoir holds five cups of coffee.
High-quality, stainless-steel drip tray ensures that the cups are stable and any spills end up in the leak tray underneath.

Don't buy one they are rubbish, the coffee is okay but you only get about a third of a cup per bag.

On the contrary, I'd recommend them. We've had one for a long time now and I love the coffee out of them. Quick and easy with no fuss and if you don't like the price of the bags you can buy a pod off of Ebay that you simply fill with your own ground coffee (we bought 2 pods for £4). We use big round cappuccino cups and the double cup setting fills them perfectly( requires 2 bags or a full pod). For £20 I don't know what more anyone could ask for. Hot IMO
well coffee..

Go to starbucks....hmmmmm
or go to Costa cofee...hmmmmm
or make one at home...

Ini mini mana mooo....

good price though
Give it a while and these will sell for £5.

Just like printers except that this time it is to sell the high priced coffee pods!!!!

Personally I would rather choose my own coffee.
I ended up having to use one of these for a couple of months. The hopper does not hold much water, it is loud in operation and produces lukewarm, insipid brown water.

None of these sorts of machines is really up to much. Just brew your coffee in a pot. Always tastes better the old fashioned way.
Had one of these for a week now and LOVE IT!!! Fab coffee
