Must have been a good boy, went to Boots in Stockton (not that good a boy) and spied that they have the Philips 9041 (also called 9111/43 I think) on offer for a cracking £45.56. This was less than the cheaper 2 headed electric razors and was further reduced from £113.99.

THIS SHAVER IS STILL £170+ ON JOHN LEWIS

john lewis selling different model number Philips S9041/12 S9000 Shaver.
you have posted S9111/43

Was posted from mobile, the shaver head is the same, there were others at boots that came with a cleaning station but that was an extra 100+ quid.

You are better off putting the cleaning solution into a microwaveable dish, warm it up, then clean the shaver head by turning the razor on for a couple of minutes in the solution. Leave to dry by opening head. Put solution back into bottle for later, it will last for ages and give great lubrication.

Amazing price.

Same happened to me, SEL is wrong, has the wrong model number (S9041/12 £285->£174.99), however the item on display was the S9111/43 as per the OP. Bargain, thanks for the heads-up

I'm looking at my inner packaging and can't see any different model numbers, where are you seeing it?

Just trying to see what difference between the two models mentioned, to be honest I can't see anything different, both listed as the same RRP £285 so look likes an even better bargain and maybe why the SEL says the other model yet the stock is this one

Hang on dude when I get home ill have a look, I am sure I saw 9041 or 9043. All the 9000 series are the same tech head wise. THE HEADS REPLACEMENT COST MORE.

Can't believe the prices people pay for razors. Considering the technology you can pick up for a fraction of the cost the mark up on electric razors must be even more than manual. It must be price fixing going on again (pretty sure they were done before). It's a good deal nevertheless, for a stupidly priced razor.
