Sorry have an allergy to exercise myself but had a look through most of the reviews and the general consensus is that they fit very well in the ear, some say the 1.2m cord is too long and too short for others.

these are really good at staying in your ear whilst at the gym or on the move.the sound is good and clear at loud end.

I get a sound like two boiling christmas puddings are clamped to my ears when I listen to my T-Mobile Pulse Mini.

Will these cancel that noise?

:)

I have an aversion to in-ear earphones.

So, is Tesco closing down near you or are these the only bargains?

What size store are we talking here?

At my Tesco Extra they had half price barbels which were already very cheap, but I prefer not to exercise.

Bought a pair of these recently. Asymmetric short cord, cheap finish. Indifferent sound. Worth a fiver at most.

For anyone who doesn't realise - 'noise isolation' is NOT the same as 'noise cancelling'.

Noise isolation just means the design tries to minimise the amount of sound leaking in or out of your ear. Basically applicable to all silicone earbud types like these with a closed back.

the 9503's are only £7.99 on amazon, and they don't get good reviews either.

Doubt it. This type tend to get bounced out of your ears when pounding the street. You may get away with them on the treadmill. Better to go for a set with a band that'll hold them in place. Someone posted Nike ones that Fopp were doing instore for 3 quid a few days ago. There was also a posting for Philips ones @ 14 quid from Amazon. I got them last week & first impressions are quite good. Better than the Sennheiser ones they're replacing

If you read the main title, the post is for the 8500's. I've only mentioned the others as they were also on offer and cheaper than anywhere else on-line, in-case anyone was interested. I provided the reviews links and the £7.99 amazon example to show that the 8500's are the best buy despite them being the cheapest of the 3. Guess I should have kept it simple and mentioned that it the main post.

They are in the Tesco Extra store in Lichfield. The product codes are on the labels so you can always call your nearest store to check availability.

Guessed as much looking at the reviews, that's why I've gone for the 8500's and they're less than a fiver.

Agreed, but the post is for the 8500's which have good reviews, hence, the relative heat.

I don't think any noise isolating earphones are good for running. Its like running with your fingers in you ears, all you can hear is your heart pounding and lungs wheezing . Add to that the sound of the cable rubbing on your skin and you can't hear the approaching cars dogs bikes rapist etc.....
#23
oh dear one play review says "as good as original ipod earphones"

lol i'll give these a miss then!
#24
just bought a pair for work....compred to my sennheisers they are very much on a par....which has surprised me...cant fall off for a fiver...
