Philips Wireless Router and USB Dongle for £15.26 delivered. It's not the latest "N" technology but for this price you can't really argue. There is also Quidco (4%) so you could get it for less than £15.26.

It is listed as "DSL" bundle but perhaps better referred to as a "Cable Router".

Does anyone know why Cable routers are often half the price of an ADSL router?
Does anyone know why Cable routers are often half the price of an ADSL router?

ADSL routers contain a modem as well ;-)
Because ADSL routers usually contain the modem component that converts the signal coming down the phone cable to a TCP/IP compatible standard.

Cable modem routers or DSL routers connect the ethernet port of a cable modem. The cable modem is separate to the router.
Snap !!

Thanks sas1979 & jawaid87 for your responses.
I brought one of these from ebay at around this price as a replacement for my WEP router. This is now sat in a box!!

Rubbish siginal and slow speeds even on my pc 5 feet away.
Thanks sas1979 & jawaid87 for your responses.

No problem
Friend bought one from Tesco last year and looking stylish & sleek, but kept freezing, therefore returned to Tesco for a refund.

Got a Belkin instead free from Virgin by blagging.
