This isn't the cheapest it has ever been but it is a rather good brush!!

But it's not a brush!!

It shoots jets of water between your teeth instead of flossing.....and it's terrible. You put the nozzle in the base of the gap between your teeth and press the button. Yes it shoots water, but it's also like a jackhammer!

I have one of the Philips Sonicare toothbrushes and it's great, far better than the Oral B ones I'd had before, but this thing is terrible. Got one when Boots had it for even less than this but took it back the next day.

Don't waste your money

Anyone else have experience with one of these? I get really bad plague build up with a relatively healthy diet and would be nice to find an alternative to flossing.

Cheers

Seriously, this is really bad. Like a percussion grenade against your teeth. If you don't like flossing then get something like Waterpic

Regardless of cold voting without giving a reason, has anyone found it cheaper? I have had one of these for a while and find it works very well as an alternative to flossing and wanted to get one for my daughter. I think this is a good price.

Yes, I have sensitive teeth, and this flosser basically has a spring loaded chamber to blast a shot of air. When it fires you get a hammer effect against your teeth. The Waterpik is gentler, or if you can afford the extra £15 then get the Panasonic EW1211, which comes highly rated

Great as a substitute to regular methods of flossing. Works for me. Heat added.

Oh OK, but that is more to do with your teeth than the machine. My teeth were a little sensitive when i first used it but soon adjusted. My teeth are tightly packed and very compact which makes it impossible to floss the traditional way so this is great for me. That said, I haven't tried the other alternatives you mention so I'll have a look.

I got one of these at the beginning of the year (£35 I think) as I found flossing with tape or those tiny brushes difficult. This is so easy and quick in comparison, charge lasts for weeks and dentist noticed the difference and didn't nag me about flossing when I went a few months ago.
Defo worth the investment IMO.
