First offer so be gentle....

I was looking for a sonic brush following the other offer posted here and found this model which fixes the problems the Elite model had. Mainly, a brush head that traps dirt/mould easily. It also has a smaller lighter body and has less external vibration. It also comes with a UV sanitizer - may be a gimmick but I would still use it. A bit pricey but this is the cheapest I've found trawling through google and the usual websites.

* Clinically proven to remove significantly more plaque
* 10% Wider - Designed for a better fit with your mouth
* 3 Flexible brushing modes, 2 Personalised cleaning routines
* Go Care: 1-minute brushing cycle for a quick clean
* Max Care: 3-minutes for an extended care routine
* Smartimer: 2-min. timer helps to ensure recommended brushing
* Quadpacer: Interval timer
* Light signal helps track battery charge

I know it seems a lot compared to a manual toothbrush, but since I've switched to the Sonicare 2 years ago my oral health has improved considerably. I've not had to pay for anything other than a dentist checkup and not seen a hygenist in that time either. On top of that my teeth are left feeling cleaner than a manual toothbrush could ever make them. Granted, it's not a cheap option, but I feel that it's paid for itself through paying less to the dentist each time. Can't say I'm going to rush to upgrade to the latest model though, I'll wait for my old one to die first.

I have an older version of this... I have white teeth and no fillings. These brushes are very good and the price will likely be offset by reduced expense at the dentist. What's more, a lot of serious illness actually starts in the mouth, including various heart conditions, etc. So have really clean teeth is a serious benefit.

Having said that, the replacement heads are also a lot of money, too, so it is a pricey business to own one of these. :)

The reviews I've read have all been excellent. Sonic brushes are the way to go. Many have sworn that their oral health are better than before. Check out the reviews on amazon.com :

I used to have the old braun 3D excel one and found it next to useless and so switched back to manual after my wife complained about my breath... LOL... :roll: So I'm gonna give this one a go.

Finally, its much cheaper to spend on this rather than get your dentist to fix things...

£89.99 LMAO
I have an Oral-B Pulsar that cost me £2.99, half price in Tesco. When it is time to dispose of it i'll spend another £2.99 on a new one that will also last me 9 months to a year. It makes my teeth look very nice for the price, thank you verry much.
I won't vote cold as it's probably a very good price. Value for money? Nope.
