Hmm tempted - it looks a good deal - but the bank balance is getting a little tight - what to do, what to do...
#2
Two months from now/two months ago I would have bought but as heather2209 says - bank balance in intensive care.

HOT...this is for 2!

Are these models top of the line Sonicare?

No - there is a HX6972/10 which is a better model.

Edit - not sure now - think the 6972 has more features 5 modes vs 3, but to be honest, I can't see it makes much difference - the cleaning effect should be equivalent.

had already posted a while back but at a higher price, see if I can find the deal

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/sonicare-twin-pack-was-250-now-122-/750052

was at £122 so this is a bargain and the product is very good

Bought this at £120 three months ago. Not even annoyed because the last three months have seen my teeth get cleaned to the best that they've ever been! Sonicare is so much better than Oral B that it's a joke. It's not suprising that Sonicare are the official recommended electric toothbrush by dentists.

This was posted fairly recently here: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/philips-sonicare-hx6952-71-flexcare/832886 but this is a slight price reduction

Yeah i did notice that, it was about a week ago. I think a week is a long time in terms of deals though especially over Christmas.

Had the reduction been a few pence I'd have not bothered posting but the best part of a fiver saved on a product under £100 is worthy of a new post IMO.

I'm after something like this but £75 is more than I want to pay (still a cracking deal though).

Can anyone recommend something for around half the price, I've looked through various sales but nothing is standing out.
#12
Great deal, just ordered
many thanks
#13
Bought this last week and still waiting on it being delivered :-( voted hot just can't wait to get my gnashers on this
#14
Is there a single option one on the cheap?
#15
This is the one I got last week for £37.50. Reading between the lines, the UV thing and extra modes are just gimics, and this one is equaly as good. Only used it for 2 days so far, replacing an oral-b. So far so good...

Can't believe the clean it gives as it hardly seems to move and is very quiet... Keep watching it or look around (boots, argos) and you might get it for around the £35 mark again soon... The prices on these on Amazon are up and down daily.

Ordered last night and forgot to post on here, cracking deal especially for two units

BTW, you can use this tool to automatically email you when somthing on Amazon hits the price you are willing to pay for it: http://zeezaw.co.uk/

got this last week, arrived couple days ago. so far i m quite happy with it. this is my 1st time using the electronic ones so that's one thing i m not so sure if i m doing right. how you guys put tooth paste on it? i did it like what i would do with the old-school manual brushes and they seem uneven in my mouth also making less bubbles :) does anyone care to share?

Read the instructions, lol. I just scrub the toothpaste around for 5 seconds, and then turn it on. you just glide it over your teeth, not scrub like a manual... Hard to believe it's doing much, but it is... Study the instructions

I messed around for ages before going to the oral B - admittedly it was 1/2 the price of this but I am disappointed in the battery life and feeling it leaves. Wish I had gone for this.
#23
Total bargin , was waiting ages for this to go down .finally just bit the bullet and paid £125 :/
1 month ago ..£50 drop is a fantastic deal.
Btw, great toothbrush worth the £75 .
#24
Looked at the price of heads, bit confusing, can you use any Sonic heads? Price seems to be about £7 each and I need 5. Any idea if there are any good deals for the replacement heads?
#25
shame I can't afford it - such a great deal, ordered anyway :)

Heat added - damn this site, it's gonna see me skint in no time!
#26
thanks op, perfect timing in terms of both mine and hubbys oral-b's having given up over last 2 weeks, pants timing in terms of bank balance! oh well, another £75 in to overdraft - we need clean teeth after all!!! :)

I was in Boots on Christmas eve and they were selling packs of three heads that looked identical to the one I have on my sonic toothbrush for £9.99. I don't know if that is still the case. Hope this helps.

I might go and get some if they are.

Price has now went up to £130.45
#34
Damn, serves me right for deliberating so long.

Any chance this could drop in price? The Oral-B linked to on the last page has also gone up to nearly £70 from £48, I was deciding between those two!
