Strangely the code didn't work for me either but if you go to the main Philips site: http://www.philips-shop.co.uk/store/index.jsp?country=GB&language=en then in the search box put in HTS3111. That'll bring up the two Soundbars they have, you select the one in the OP (it's the top one). Click Add to Basket THEN put the code in: PHILIPSFFMAY2012PUB and you should see it come down to the price as stated in the OP.

Hope that helps.
#11
Works fine for me... Thanks OP.

Tempted by this, just not sure where I'd put it. My 47in LG TV overhangs the stand so I doubt it could go in front (and also might obscure the picture)

Could it go on the floor in front (or behind)?

Any thoughts anyone? Where do you have it?
#30
Out of stock again :(
#31
Managed to pick one up in the morning had to pay with PayPal as I was having trouble with there payment system
#32
Any arrived yet ?
#33
Yep got mine last week - its pretty good for just short of £90! £10 TCB as well!
#34
Back in stock but code does not work.
#35
Have to say, got this for £90 (£80 with TCB) and it is brilliant for that price. Only had it for a day but the sound so far is very good, i was skeptical because my tv had decent speakers on it and these are quite thin for a soundbar. Keeps quality at high volumes and feels very rich with the bass, which also surprisingly can be loud.

Good speaker, thought I would have to pay a lot more for anything decent but this is good.
#36
So I've had my speaker for a week now, and also had to order all my connections separately and I've finally had time to set it all up. Firstly, it sounds great, no complaints there. Question for others who bought this soundbar, how have you displayed it? I was intending to have mine sitting on top of the fireplace under the wall-mounted tv, but it looks like I can't do this properly because even though the bar has feet on it, after plugging in a coaxial and optical cable, they stick out further than the bottom, so there is no way to have it standing up. I'm having to drill a hole in the top of the fireplace to run the cables through. Also, the power cable is stupidly short, unsuitable for most people who would want to wall-mount it without replacing the power cable entirely.

The sound quality is worth the hassle, but I didn't expect such a massive design flaw.

You can get right angled connectors. Have you looked at those as a solution?

Yeah I would go for angled cables. Mine isn't mounted, I have it sitting on top of my LCD. There is a universal mount for soundbars but it's needlessly expensive. I have cheaply used tape and some plastic binding to hold it in place as it already sat steadily. It's best for 40" TVs I think.
#39
Unexpired.....just had email from Philips. Back in stock. 40% off working too. Ordered.
#40
Can't find it on the philips site. got a link?
