I've paid £5 for equivalent protectors to this from Maplin before now, voted hot.

OTOH, I'm not convinced as to whether these type of surge protectors are effective. Even the more expensive models with insurance deals included for attached equipment are probably only valuable for the insurance itself... Still, on the off-chance it'll save something more expensive...

Forget about how good this is... its pretty useful to have this in your basket as it results in free delivery for the whole order... so for 99p you get your ordered delivered, and the surge protector...

even works on something big like a step ladder...

ebuyer has min £7.23 shipping to Northern Ireland... their excuse? Their insurance doesn't let them use royal mail for northern ireland... load of bs. seems like a decent deal - shame it is ebuyer.

These items though do have to the best of my knowledege the ce logo which stands for certified europe so surely must be tested by some organization or authority to a standard where they're fit for purpose!
