Just so people are aware, you do need to have a PC to use the Skype functionality of these. It is not the standalone skype phones that you can buy

What about the Vista issue.. reading the Amazon reviews its not clear if its resolved or not

Unless you have a computer on all the time anyway I would not bother with these. It appears they just interface with your Skype on your PC. A cordless VOIP phone would be better.
I guess if you do have a computer on all the time you can run Skype on this could be a cheap way of getting VOIP services.

Great product, been using it for months...bought of an Amazon seller for same price so not upset about this deal

I can confirm this product definatley works on ]Vista but use the drivers and software from the ]Philips site rather than on the disc

A great product overall, ideal if you leave your PC on most of the time as all it does is connect to Skype via USB, but it also has a standard telephone connection if you want to connect it to a landline so you can still make callls when your PC is off. Oh another cool feature is that you can use both handsets at the same time, one for Skype, one for landline.

The only slight downside with these phones is that to make a call to UK via Skype you have to type in +44 and drop the first 0 as though you were dialing internationally, otherwise Skype won't recognise it as a UK number, but for landlines you can just dial normally.

And yes this phone works fine with SkypeIn, and rings when you have an incoming call. Also it's compatible with Skype voicemail, so you can check your messages from the handset.
