argos selling shb8750nc which is much worse than reviewed shb8850nc

that link isnt for the product on sale at argos. Argos are not saying what model it is so you have to look at the pack on one of the photos. It's an 8750 rather than the 8850 in the link. Going then to amazon, there's only 1 review of that and it looks like a gift and free review piece. Still cheap of course but makes me wonder as it is disingenuous not to list the model.

The EAN number specified in the Argos product description is for the 8850 so hopefully that's what I should get when I pick them up later today!!

I haven't read a huge number of reviews as it was an impulse stocking filler purchase but the review's I've seen mention features and performance as being impressive for a £90 set of headphones so for this price I'm hoping you can't go wrong....

I I've now picked them up they are 8750 the numbers are different because of the style difference these are black and the others have silver parts on them. otherwise they are exactly the same £90 headphones. Well worth the Argos offer price, I'm very happy with them.

Out of curiosity is there much point in having noise cancellation when they don't completely cover the ears?

Just picked a pair up from Argos and have to say they are very good. Noise cancellation is pretty good too.

Bought these yesterday. Very good for the money. Great for the gym too

Picked these up last night, so far not bad. Build quality not amazing but for £35 and BT it seems worth it.

the noise cancellation is playing the same sound as the background but in inverted phase, a bit like those car cancellation tech which plays a sound via speaker to cancel out the cabin noise, i.e. doesnt have to completely cover the ear. these are active noise cancellation as opposed to just noise isolation.

just picked up a pair from argos. cant ask for more for 35 quid.

Study headphones with poor sound quality! I have a sony wired headphone which is £15 which is way better in sound quality compared to Philips. I bought this from Argos but returned it.
