Not sure if this has been posted before. This is a great deal for a 4K TV and the Ambilight sets it off. A fully fledged Android System allows usage of all apps that can be used from your phone on the big screen.

The discount code for Argos is TVS10.

Let me know if you have any luck.

Best,

Shaun

Got my son the 43" for his birthday a month ago from the deal posted. Stuck Kodi on it and havent seen him in weeks. He only comes out for food, then disappears back into his room. The TV in itself is very good, the ambilight has to be seen to be believed. From the garden its like he is having a disco even with curtains drawn. RAVE ON SON, RAVE ON!

So... avoid if you ever want to see your children again... but all in all a great set with great picture, and the added bonus of Kodi built in and no external android boxes ;-)

PS.. the code only works for delivery or pay BEFORE collection. It does NOT work on reserve and collect/pay.

60hz refresh rate hence the cheap price. Will be an inferior viewing experience to a 120hz 1080p LCD. Motion blur will be noticeable to those with good eyesight. A 4k LCD at 60Hz is a marketing con.

You obviously have no idea what you're talking about.

Seems to get decent reviews. Rather buy something like this than a Hisense which can be found at a similar price point. Good deal!

It honestly looks amazing. You will only fully get the benefit of 4K on larger TV's. I also forgot to mention that this has HDR for realistic colours.

The 43" version is great and i paid a similar price for that.

Heat. I had the Aurea amber-light and I absolutely loved it. Best TV I have ever owned. Wished they did the same but with a Top Spec 4K, HDR 10 etc.

sorry to hassle - will this work with an xbox one s without stuttering or any lag

Shows a sat tuner, why doesn't Argos state this in the blurb....for me it's a sales point.

For the price, this seems really good. Waiting on some comments as to why not... user reviews seem universally positive. It is IPS, so I thought blacks would be inferior, but from reviews this doesn't seem to be the case. Perhaps Ambilight helps in that respect.

Had this TV for just over 20 days. 4k is brilliant, HDR isn't bad considering the price point, Android is... android... generally buggy but does the job. An example of bugginess is if you perform a software update, and then do a factory restore, it restores the updated software but the original config not the amended config which goes with the updated software. So you end up in a mishmash and the only way to fix it is to wait for another software update! I think issues like this are common as software on TVs gets too "smart" for its own good. I'm taking mine back tomorrow to hopefully have it swapped. I've been plagued by poor network performance, and initially put it down to Wifi issues, but having wired it this weekend through ethernet to receive 1mpbs performance, I've given up. That said, I'm hoping to get the same set again because besides this issue, it has been a fantastic TV.

I'm playing PS4 with no issues and games have been up scaled with HDR. I believe this will run fine with XBOX one s.

I have an older ambilight Philips TV, it does make a huge difference to the overall feel/effect of watching TV - I love it!!

what warranty is on this TV please?
I'm very tempted, reviews are not too bad, especially for the price.

To use the code - click on the item to 'add to basket' then proceed to checkout. it will give you the option to click and collect or delivery. select your option and then a page should load. You will see a box at the top to enter your voucher code.

Enter the code TVS10 and the discount should apply.
#23

Looks pretty good. Shame it's only A rated energy though, do the energy saving settings reduce the quite high 87w on mode power consumption? I've seen some LG tvs of similar size using nearly a third of that power!

Does anyone listen to which reviews? this didn't get a good one. in the market for a 4k TV but the which review put me off this

Not at the moment 3,4,5 have not both developing/porting apps yet. You can cast from some of them but you don't get the full set like on youview.

Is it HDR? Argos doesn't seem to mention it, but What Hi-fi article seems to suggest it is...

Does anyone who purchased this know if you get the qwerty remote with it? Some reviews of this on youtube show this remote but the Argos image shows a different one...

Think the 1Mb's download might be your problem in this day and age,sad if you can't get more.
Just tested my Virgin cable and its 31.77Mb's download and 1.48Mb's upload, remember the dial up speeds of 56Kb's now that was fun.
