A good price although it's the first gen strip which is not bright compared to the plus

Great thanks op. Been waiting for this to drop. Ordered along with the bayonet bulb. :)

Ordered 2 for under my bed - combined with a movement sensor, makes a good night light for when you get up in the night!

I know what these do and "I'm in", but I can't
be the only one that finds the price of these exorbitant when it isn't even the latest version either. ...still hot as I 'get it....' but still frustrating :)

vtd hot...

Going to have to hold out for the newer version, I watched some comparison videos and the fade in/out is better. I wouldn't normally but fussed, just I still feel £34.99 is to much for last gen, especially as I'll need an extension..

I have 4 of the old gen and they are fine. But I've not seen the newer one. I'd be tempted to wait for a good price on newer, but doubt it will get this low.

Hi, you'll need this..... it comes with its own power adapter, but........

You'll also need a Hue Bridge, there are two versions available of the Bridge (1st gen, which is a circular design and 2nd gen, which is more of a square design with rounded off corners).

I'm not sure of the current price of the Hue Bridge, but I believe it is around £45 to £50.

The Bridge connects to your home network and can be hidden inside the house. The individual bulbs and light strips then connect to the Bridge.

Your smartphone, tablet or web app then allow you to control the lights via an app that talks to the Bridge.
